We aim to continually reduce the risk of workplace injury to all employees and actively work with our clients to achieve this goal.


Genesis Recruitment's 10 Commandments of Safety

1. No business priority is to come before Safety.

2. At all times Genesis staff and operative must abide by the safety rules set down by Genesis Recruitment, their Client and the Law. Legal compliance is our minimum standard.

3. All Genesis Recruitment staff, who visit their Client's workplaces must have read and understood the Genesis Recruitment Health and Safety Policy and management plan.

4. If in doubt as to whether a situation is a Health and Safety issue, seek immediate clarification from an OH&S Manager.

5. Hazards and unsafe practices observed in the workplace are to be reported immediately to the Personnel Consultant responsible for that site and to the person responsible for corrective action.

6. All safety issues or incidents, workplace hazards and unsafe practices involving Genesis Recruitment personnel are to be immediately reported to the OHS Manager by the Personnel Consultant responsible for that site.

7. All safety incidents are to be investigated by the relevant Genesis Recruitment Manager and measure taken to prevent reoccurrence. Actions taken are to be formally advised to the Genesis Recruitment OH&S Manager.

8. No Genesis Recruitment employee is to operate or interfere with any equipment unless authorised and formally recorded as competent to do so.

9. No Genesis employee is to start on a job without being fully signed up.

10. No Genesis employee is to start on a job without a safety induction.
